35,000 accounts deleted at Prospect Response

A few days ago, I sent a message to Prospect Response that we are making drastic changes to the program.

Email marketing is a challenging, especially when you are faced with today’s email filters and spam filters. Almost every ISP, user and company employs some kind of filters.
In our effort to continue delivering your message right to the mailboxes of your recipients, we are always continuously making changes in response to trends in internet marketing.

Right now, drastic changes are needed to further boost the program.

We just deleted over 35,000 accounts on Prospect Response

Will yours be next?

While we appreciate every member and the tremendous input they have made to Prospect Response, we must keep a clean membership and ensure all members messages are delivered right into each mailbox as intended.

What can you do to ensure your account will not be deleted?

1: Always ensure your email address is current and deliverable
Log in to your member’s area, Account Info > Edit to update your information

2: Do you receive other members’ emails?
This may be a sign that your email address is undeliverable. If we cannot deliver emails to you, chances are it could be due to some spam filter, or your email address is undeliverable.

3: Always use the Spam Assassin spam check tool to check your message for spam filter triggers.
By default, every message sent through our system must go through this. Do not over-ride the spam filter if you find it has a high spam score. This only jeopardizes delivery of not only your message, but your future messages and other members’ messages as well.

Your best input is to ensure your email address is correct. On our end, we ensure all the messages are in compliance with federal laws and provide all the tools to ensure your messages are delivered.

Accounts that will be deleted
Any accounts that return a permanent delivery failure will be deleted. Permanent delivery means it no longer exists.

If your account has simply exceeded the quota allocated by your ISP, then it will not be deleted. In this case, you’ll simply need to re-confirm your email to re-activate your account as usual.

When will they be deleted?
We will be automatically running this house keeping sweep every night.

Will your account be next?
Please help keep us keep Prospect Response the most responsive email community on the internet.
